The elderly have also fallen into the hands of the 'Newborn Gang'!

According to new allegations regarding the gang, members not only forced newborns into intensive care units, causing their deaths, but also ensnared the elderly, leading to their deaths in those now-closed hospitals under the guise of treatment.

While Turkey is discussing the newborn gang scandal in hospitals that caused the deaths of infants, it has emerged that not only babies but also the elderly fell into the hands of this death gang.

SAME HOSPITAL, SAME TRAGIC END

75-year-old Fatma Usta was brought to the Private Şafak Hospital in Bağcılar by her family due to an infection. The family, who thought the mother would be discharged from the hospital shortly, lived through a nightmare.

Allegedly, the doctors immediately admitted Usta to intensive care. The doctors claimed the elderly woman's condition was good, but on the 4th day, they delivered the news that she had been intubated.

The 75-year-old woman allegedly told her daughter she wanted to be taken out of intensive care, but the doctors did not allow it.

SHE WALKED IN, HER BODY WAS CARRIED OUT

The elderly woman's body was collected from the hospital she had walked into on her own.

"GET ME OUT! THEY WILL KILL ME HERE"

Speaking to ATV Haber, Fatma Usta's daughter said, "My mother started getting angry, saying, 'Get me out of here, they are going to kill me here.' They had bloated my mother up and shoved a huge tube into her mouth. We brought her in healthy, we received her dead. Everyone here is in on it. Everyone is complaining about this hospital."

CONVERSATIONS IN THE CASE FILE

The case file for the newborn gang trial also contains evidence showing that the victims were not just babies.

The sentences uttered by nurse D.T. while venting her anger at a doctor drew attention:

"I didn't get any compensation or anything. I resigned, and on top of that, they kept talking behind my back. I was already looking for the slightest excuse. You kill adults who walk in on their own feet and then discharge them; are you even a doctor!"

The dialogue between two other nurses who are gang members is as follows;

- "Buddy, the Güney newborn unit is closed, that's for sure. It's definitely closed, buddy. They think it's just about newborns now, but sooner or later, the Social Security Institution (SGK) will start looking into the adult units too."

"They will, man, why wouldn't they? Once these guys have gotten a taste of the illegal, they won't stop."

- "Exactly. Let them start looking into those files, going back ten, twenty years; let's see if they have a single penny left."

In fact, one of the gang members trying to clear their own name tells a friend that they will formalize what happened and report it, admitting that the malpractice was not limited to the newborn ward:

- "We are entering the court process. Honestly, isn't this the perfect time to write to SABİM and CİMER? Buddy, what kind of thing should I write?"

"Write about the irregular patient admissions from 112, write that they accept patients without protocols, and then you can also write about the irregularities in the adult ward."

- Patient sheets?

"Yes, you can say they inflate patient levels, commit irregularities, inflate the sheets, keep the deceased waiting, and extend the patients' hospital stays."
