It has been revealed that the suspect who brutally murdered his 15-year-old ex-girlfriend Gülden Coni in Edirne had planned the murder in advance, and that he had messaged his friends saying he would become a 'ward boss' and asking for their help. His family is also accused of aiding in the murder.

The pain continues to weigh heavily following the death of 15-year-old Gülden Coni, who was killed with more than 20 stab wounds by her 15-year-old ex-boyfriend E.A. on April 5, 2025, in the garden of a Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in the Çavuşbey neighborhood of Edirne.
Following the incident, the suspect E.A., who was arrested by the court, was found to have shared in an Instagram group with his friends 3 days before the murder that he would be going to prison.

The correspondence shows the suspect writing that he would soon be entering prison and would become a 'ward boss,' and asking his friends for underwear. It was observed that his friends replied to the suspect's messages by asking, 'Do you have money?'
The older sister of the murdered Gülden, Nurhan Alüzrek, stated that the incident was premeditated and carried out brutally. Calling for the suspect to receive the harshest possible sentence, sister Alüzrek emphasized the pain of burying her sister at such a young age.

Father Sami Coni also stated that his daughter was killed with more than 20 stab wounds. Explaining that the body was found 6 hours after the murder, father Sami said, "The suspect goes home after the murder, and his bloody clothes are washed by his relatives. After he takes a bath, he goes to his workplace, a hair salon, and then returns home. The murder weapons were thrown into the river by his family, and my daughter's phone was broken. The family also knew about this murder. I hope he receives the harshest punishment."
