The Turkey Report has released the results of two critical surveys conducted in January, a month when early election debates occupied the agenda.
The survey results revealed remarkable findings regarding both the vote shares of political parties and the public's perception of politicians' success.
THE GAP BETWEEN THE AKP AND CHP IS NARROWING
As part of the survey, participants were asked, "Which party would you vote for if a general election were held this Sunday?"
While the AKP ranked first with 20.9 percent, the CHP placed second with a vote share of 20.6 percent.
The survey found that the DEM Party received 8.2 percent, the MHP 5.3 percent, and the IYI Party 3.5 percent. The rate of undecided voters was announced as 13 percent, while the rate of those stating they would not vote was 18 percent.
Participants in the survey were also asked, "Who do you consider to be the most successful politicians?"
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş took the top spot with 5.6 points, leaving his closest rival, Ekrem İmamoğlu, behind by a margin of 0.8 points.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan placed third, receiving the same score as İmamoğlu.
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel ranked fourth with 3.8 points, while MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli followed him with 3.7 points.
