They didn't even listen to the pandemic: Look where prostitution and drug parties were held during the pandemic!

New findings have emerged regarding the Bebek Hotel, located in Bebek and owned by Muzaffer Yıldırım, as part of the prostitution and drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. 

According to information included in the investigation file, it was determined that the hotel was one of the centers where drug and prostitution parties were organized for a long time.

While 26 people were detained as part of the operation carried out in recent days, it was learned that these names included the owner of Bebek Hotel, Muzaffer Yıldırım, and its manager, Arif Altunbulak. 

In line with the evidence obtained by the investigation units, it was noted that the hotel hosted parties attended by many famous names.

According to the allegations reflected in the investigation file, it was determined that confidentiality rules were strictly applied at the parties held at the Bebek Hotel. It was determined that people entering the hotel handed over their mobile phones and that taking photos or videos inside was strictly prohibited.

It was stated that sharing what happened inside with third parties was forbidden, and those who violated this rule were never allowed back into the establishment or other venues connected to Yıldırım. Information that these venues included Club House, Very Stay House, and the Bobo By The Stay Hotel located in Bodrum Cennet Koyu was also included in the file.

One of the striking details in the investigation concerned the coronavirus pandemic period in 2020. According to the information obtained, it was determined that the parties allegedly held at the Bebek Hotel were moved to a luxury villa rented in Rumelihisarı due to curfews and restrictions imposed on businesses.

It was alleged that some people who came to the Bebek Hotel during the pandemic process were issued hotel cards by showing them as if they were staying at the hotel, and that the aim of this method was to exempt these individuals from the restrictions.

PARTIES CONTINUED IN A LUXURY VILLA WITH A POOL

It was noted that the events, which were planned to last until late at night, continued until the morning at the villa with a pool in Rumelihisarı. Information that people living in the vicinity were disturbed by the large number of vehicles coming to the villa and loud music, and that neighbors complained due to noise and crowds, entered the investigation file.

According to the information in the file, it was determined that the regulars of the Bebek Hotel included the owner of FLO Shoes, Mahmut Ziylan, who was arrested in the same investigation in recent weeks, and the fugitive businessman Burak Ateş.

It was alleged that special VIP rooms were allocated to Ziylan and Ateş within the Bebek Hotel, and that drug and prostitution acts took place in these areas. In addition, information that no fees were charged from the women who came to the hotel or from those who provided women for prostitution was also reflected in the investigation documents.

HOW WERE CLOSURE AND DEMOLITION DECISIONS CIRCUMVENTED?

Another striking detail regarding the Bebek Hotel was the administrative decisions. It was determined that a one-month closure decision was issued for the hotel before the beginning of last year, but the business resumed operations after a stay of execution was obtained one day before New Year's Eve.

Furthermore, it was determined that the demolition decisions issued by the Ministry of Tourism for some extensions of the hotel during the last summer period could not be implemented due to stay of execution decisions. It was noted that the terrace and some sections subject to the demolition order were among the areas where drug and prostitution parties were held within the scope of the investigation.
