Threats continue in the Minguzzi case! Lawyer Epözdemir reveals
Threats against the family and lawyer of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was stabbed to death in Kadıköy, are escalating. Lawyer Rezzan Epözdemir has shared with the public the death threats he and his wife received following a live broadcast.

Rezzan Epözdemir, the lawyer for the family of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was murdered in Kadıköy, shared the threatening messages sent to his and his wife's phones after they participated in a live broadcast yesterday.
Epözdemir stated, "These are the messages sent to my and my wife's phones after the program titled 'Az Önce Konuştum' (I Just Spoke), which aired last night and in which I participated alongside Yasemin Minguzzi. Since the relevant party and the group's name may have been used untruthfully, I have legally redacted them. Afterwards, my wife and I were also called via video. I have reported the matter to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Police Department. I have also applied to the Governor's Office for the necessary precautions to be taken. I hope the necessary actions will be taken. I will follow this up legally to the end. These threats and pressures cannot intimidate or frighten us. Our legal struggle for the killers of Ahmet Minguzzi to be punished in a way that sets a precedent will continue until the end."
In the messages, Epözdemir and his wife were threatened with death. They were demanded to withdraw from the case and for the murder to be presented as 'self-defense'.
