Tragic traffic accident in Çanakkale: 3 people lost their lives
In a tragic traffic accident where two cars collided head-on on the Ezine-Bayramiç Highway in Çanakkale, 3 people lost their lives and 1 person was injured. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, and the road was temporarily closed to traffic.

The accident occurred around 01:00 on the Ezine-Bayramiç highway. A car with license plate 17 TG 215, driven by Orhan Arslan, and a car with license plate 17 FC 707, driven by Rıdvan Zeybekoğlu, collided head-on for reasons yet to be determined.
Due to the severity of the accident, the front ends of both cars were completely destroyed. During the collision, debris from the vehicles was scattered across the road.
Drivers who witnessed the accident reported the situation to the police and medical teams. Upon arrival at the scene, medical teams determined that the driver of the car with license plate 17 TG 215, Orhan Arslan, the passenger Yasemin Arslan, and an unidentified person had lost their lives at the scene.
Rıdvan Zeybekoğlu, the driver of the car with license plate 17 FC 707 involved in the accident, was injured. Zeybek was taken to the ÇOMÜ Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Following the investigation by the prosecutor's office and crime scene investigation teams, the bodies were taken to the Ezine State Hospital morgue.
While the police have launched an investigation into the accident, the vehicles were removed with the help of a tow truck. The Ezine-Bayramiç highway, which had been providing single-lane traffic, has been reopened to two-way traffic.
