Truck with failed brakes plunges off bridge: Deaths and injuries reported

In the Birecik district of Şanlıurfa, a truck with failed brakes plunged off a bridge along with the vehicles it struck.

According to initial reports, there are deaths and injuries in the accident.

According to the information obtained, the accident occurred around 21:30 in the Birecik district.

It is alleged that the moving truck, which suffered brake failure, plunged off the bridge along with numerous vehicles it had struck over a distance of approximately 1 kilometer.

Numerous health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the area. It was stated that there were deaths and injuries in the accident according to initial findings.

Teams arriving at the scene extracted the injured from the vehicles and transported them to Birecik State Hospital by ambulance.
