Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ emphasized that his party's votes are increasing at a dinner held for the party's 4th anniversary and shared the results of the latest poll they commissioned. Stating, "I see the support for the Zafer Party visibly everywhere," Ümit Özdağ said after giving the percentage, "I am sure we will get a result even higher than this; we have only just begun."

''As you know, preparations are made before every party is founded. Meetings are held with holding companies. Political fashion shows are presented. Meetings are held with press bosses. Support is requested. Visits are made to Washington and European Union capitals to be introduced. As the Zafer Party, we also had our preparations, of course. But our preparations were different. We first visited Anıtkabir. We prayed in the presence of our eternal commander-in-chief, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Then we went from there to Yasi, Kazakhstan, to the tomb of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. Khoja Ahmed Yasawi is the great person who ensured the spread of the Islamic religion among the Turks. In Turkestan, Turks call visiting the tomb of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi a 'small pilgrimage'. We poured the soil we took from there in front of the tomb of Haji Bektash Veli in the middle of Anatolia, at the base of the black mulberry tree, with prayers.''

While claiming that expressions such as "enemy of Islam" were used against him and his party, Özdağ reacted to this situation, saying, "They accused us of being enemies of Islam. The Zafer Party was not founded by taking refuge in the intercession of Brussels, with the support of Washington, or by cooperating with FETÖ. We are not among those who became Muslims when the AK Party came to power. We are members of the Turkish nation that has been Muslim for a thousand years. They accused us of being enemies of Arabs. Yet, two Arab countries, Iraq and Syria, were dismantled while the AK Party was in power and as a result of the AK Party's policies. Who is doing the real enmity to the Arabs?''

''THE TURKISH NATION KNEW QUITE CLEARLY THAT I WAS BEING HELD HOSTAGE IN SILIVRI FOR ÖCALAN''

Claiming that he was imprisoned for 5 months because he opposed the second solution process, which the government defines as a "Terror-Free Turkey," Özdağ expressed the following:

"The Zafer Party has revealed that it is the reflex, the last line of defense, and the early warning system of the Turkish nation against the surrender-oriented negotiation process initiated with Öcalan. When the Zafer Party cadres brought thousands of people to the squares with the rallies they organized in Karaman and Antalya at the very beginning of this process and revealed the reaction of the citizens, my arrest was decided. The purpose of this arrest was to prevent me from informing the Turkish public about the details of the process carried out with Öcalan. They must have thought that I had deep sources of information outside and that I should be cut off from these sources. Furthermore, as the chairman who knows Öcalan and the PKK most closely, they did not want me to decipher the negotiation process and explain it to the Turkish people. My dear friends, my arrest was no surprise to me at all. Six months before my arrest, I had discussed the possibility of my arrest with two friends from the executive board, and I had expressed to my professor, Dr. Ali Şehirleoğlu, that I would leave the power of attorney to him in case of my arrest, and asked him to prepare for this."

"In fact, as you also know, the government's propagandists had warned me and the Zafer Party not to object to the negotiations with Öcalan by stating that those who engage in Turkish nationalism during the negotiation process with Öcalan would be punished. I did not stay alone in a single-person cell in Silivri for 5 months. I stayed in the cell in Silivri with Ziya Gökalp, Yusuf Akçura, Dündar Taşer, Erol Güngör, and Muzaffer Özdağ. I remained imprisoned in Silivri representing all Turkish nationalists, Atatürkists, in short, you. I served time on your behalf. And while I was being held in a single-person cell in Silivri, I stated that my presence there was a tribute to the martyrs of our War of Independence, our martyrs in the fight against terrorism, and the precious existence of our brothers who were veterans in the fight against terrorism. And the Turkish nation knew quite clearly, regardless of which party they voted for, that I was being held hostage in Silivri for Öcalan."

''ZAFER PARTY APPEARS AT 7.6 PERCENT WHEN UNDECIDED VOTES ARE DISTRIBUTED''

Sharing a poll result, Özdağ claimed that the Zafer Party's vote is 7.6 percent if undecided voters are distributed, saying, "I am traveling across Turkey. I see the support for the Zafer Party visibly everywhere. The latest poll result that came to me today shows the Zafer Party at 7.6 percent when undecided votes are distributed. I am sure we will get a result even higher than this; we have only just begun."

''WE THREW YOU INTO THE SEA IN THE GREAT OFFENSIVE''

Stating that opposition parties did not show sufficient reaction to the solution process, Özdağ noted the following:

"DEM, AK Party, and the Nationalist Movement Party came together and formed the DAM Alliance. The PKK has laid down its arms, brotherhood will be established. But unfortunately, the issue does not end with the DAM Alliance surrendering to Öcalan. With the rhetoric of 'equal citizenship' and statements like 'we are not against education in the mother tongue,' we see that the opposition is also trying to appear pleasing to the Öcalan commission and this negotiation process with terrorism. From here, we ask those who propagate a terror-free Turkey as the Zafer Party: What kind of terror-free Turkey is this, when the ringleaders of the PKK terrorist organization in Europe have declared war against the Lausanne Treaty, which forms the foundation of our state's establishment, and are defending the Treaty of Sèvres, which the imperialists tried to impose to destroy the Turkish nation? I am a good reader of political history. Throughout all the political history I have read, I have never seen any political movement base its own legitimacy on a treaty signed and shaped by someone else. Throughout history, only the base movement called the PKK bases the foundation of its legitimacy on the Treaty of Sèvres. This is a great baseness. Sèvres was the treaty that the imperialist powers, aiming to annihilate the Turkish nation, tried to impose at the end of the First World War to destroy the Turkish nation. I ask these PKK-loving brats. Where do you stand in Sèvres? Were you in the British army? Were you in the French army? Were you among the Anzacs? Were you at the table where Sèvres was signed? If you were at the table in Sèvres, we threw you into the sea in the Great Offensive."

"THE TURKISH STATE DOES NOT HAVE SUCH A MIND"

Continuing his evaluations regarding the solution process, Özdağ reacted to the DEM Party and expressed the following:

''What kind of terror-free Turkey is this, when the DEM Co-Chair does not accept, respect, or recite our National Anthem. What kind of terror-free Turkey is this, when the so-called PKK, in a show akin to a barbecue party, burns 30 Kalashnikovs while the Syrian, Iraqi, and Iranian branches of the PKK do not lay down their arms. My dear fellow fighters, when we ask these questions, some of the stakeholders of the DAM Alliance, instead of answering, try to trivialize our questions by removing them from the agenda and make their own empty propaganda. One of the main foundations of this empty propaganda is that the struggle with Öcalan is the result of state wisdom. It is true. The struggle with Öcalan is the result of state wisdom, but it is the result of the wisdom of the states of Israel and America. The Turkish state does not have such a mind.''

''ZAFER PARTY IS THE ONLY PARTY THAT WILL SOLVE THE ASYLUM SEEKER AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT PROBLEM''

Claiming that the only political party that can solve the asylum seeker and illegal immigrant problem in Turkey is the Zafer Party, Özdağ said, "The Turkish nation has now seen and understood that no party other than the Zafer Party has the intention, desire, and capacity to solve this problem. The Zafer Party is the only party that will solve the asylum seeker and illegal immigrant problem."
