Examinations conducted on the phones of the football players involved in the investigation revealed serious evidence that the players were transacting on illegal betting sites.
VIRTUAL GAMBLING GAME FOUND ON PHONE
Examinations of Fenerbahçe midfielder Mert Hakan Yandaş's mobile phone revealed images indicating that a popular virtual gambling game called "Sweet Bonanza" was being played.
These findings in Yandaş's digital materials held a significant place within the scope of the investigation.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES IN ABDULSAMET BURAK'S MESSAGES
Traces were found on the phone of Kayserispor player Abdulsamet Burak indicating that he had accessed four different illegal betting and gambling sites.
Furthermore, Burak's messages included statements such as, "The grandfather hit 100x, then I have a game, I entered that wanted one. I bought a spin. It gave 17, something happened." These messages show that betting and gambling games were being actively played.
'86 THOUSAND LIRA' STATEMENT
In the WhatsApp correspondence of Pendikspor player Emircan Çiçek, statements such as "They seized our 86 thousand liras. We won from the site. Betting? Yes. What is this, no, it's a slot. What is needed for the mail anyway. They will check if there is a site registered with the e-mail" were found.
Coupon images belonging to two different illegal betting and gambling sites were also seized from Çiçek.
Access records for four different illegal gambling and betting sites were found in the digital materials of Boluspor's Ensar Bilir. It was revealed that Bilir regularly accessed the sites in question and participated in such activities.
In the digital materials of Vanspor player Faruk Can Genç, messages were found saying, "Brother, you know that illegal site thing, when I was playing in Giresun, we gathered like that, the masseur and 2-3 people made a coupon. Will that cause any trouble?"
These messages show that the player participated in illegal betting sites and was involved in such activities.
'WILL WE WIN THE MATCH?' MESSAGE
It was determined in the digital materials of Göztepespor player İzzet Furkan Malak that a friend had sent him a message saying, "Will we win the match? I'm making a coupon." Additionally, images belonging to an illegal betting and gambling site and photos showing him playing roulette were found on Malak's phone.
