Türkiye newspaper columnist Cem Küçük has made striking statements regarding the arrest of celebrity news anchor Ela Rümeysa Cebeci. Küçük stated that Cebeci has been messaging him for the past three days, claiming that she does not use drugs and that she has been the target of a conspiracy.
In his statements during a live broadcast, Cem Küçük expressed that in the messages sent to him, Ela Rümeysa Cebeci claimed she does not use drugs and that this is a conspiracy.
Stating that Cebeci claimed the drugs found in her hair were the result of an aesthetic procedure, Küçük noted the following:
"She has been messaging me for three days. She sent the same messages to İsmail Saymaz as well. She wrote to me, 'I do not use drugs, I had aesthetic work done, that is why drugs were found.' She sent messages saying things like, 'There is no such thing on my phone, I did not delete anything, I have been subjected to a conspiracy.'"
Cem Küçük announced that messages were found on Ela Rümeysa Cebeci's phone that contained evidence of crimes such as providing a location for drug use, supplying drugs, displaying drugs, and purchasing drugs.
Küçük stated that this could lead to a major problem, and spoke as follows:
"Everything has a different relationship with private life, but drug-related matters are an issue of the state and national security. Criminal elements such as providing a location, supplying drugs, and displaying drugs were found on Ela Rümeysa's phone. This is a serious matter. Prosecutors are pursuing these accusations, and consequently, Ela Rümeysa has been arrested."
Cem Küçük said that Cebeci should repent and rebuild her life, and continued his words as follows:
"She might not be watching this program right now, but if she sees it in the future or reaches it in some way, I want to say this to her: She can repent, state that she will not engage in these activities, and build a new life. Because serious troubles await her."
