While it is estimated that the coastal parts of the Eastern Black Sea, as well as the surroundings of Ordu and Mersin, will experience rain and showers on Tuesday, and the surroundings of Karaman and Niğde will experience sleet and snow, no precipitation is expected across the country on the first day of the new year.

While air temperatures are hovering around seasonal norms across the country, the wind is expected to blow lightly, and occasionally at moderate strength, during the first days of the new year.

Ankara: Partly cloudy and clear, occasionally foggy and misty, low of 0, high of 8 degrees.

Istanbul: Partly cloudy and clear, misty and occasionally foggy during the night and morning hours, low of 4, high of 11 degrees.

Izmir: Clear, with misty and occasionally foggy conditions in the interior during the night and morning hours, low of 6, high of 15 degrees.

Konya: Partly cloudy and clear, occasionally foggy and misty, low of -2, high of 6 degrees.

Antalya: Clear and sunny, low of 7, high of 18 degrees.

Adana: Partly cloudy, low of 5, high of 18 degrees.

Diyarbakir: Clear, foggy and misty during the night and morning hours, low of -2, high of 10 degrees.

Erzurum: Clear, foggy and misty during the night and morning hours, low of -15, high of -4 degrees.

Trabzon: Very cloudy, intermittent rain on Tuesday, low of 8, high of 11 degrees.
