According to a report by İsmail Arı from BirGün, the petition recalled that two people had withdrawn their complaints and emphasized that, in accordance with Article 50 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK), long-term prison sentences for negligent crimes can be converted into fines, taking into account the defendant's personality, social status, economic situation, remorse, and the manner in which the crime was committed.
