In an operation conducted on a business where gambling was taking place during the first seconds of the new year, police issued a total of 295 thousand 904 TL in fines to 32 people. One of the officers conducting the operation said, '3-2-1 bingo. Yes gentlemen, police, happy new year, everyone sit back down.' Five business owners were taken into custody.

Teams from the Diyarbakır Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch, Morality Bureau, raided a business where gambling was being conducted in the first minutes of the new year. Those gambling tried to flee upon noticing the police raid. As a result of the teams' successful operation, a total of 295 thousand 904 TL in fines was issued to 32 people who were gambling.
