According to a statement from the Erzurum Provincial Gendarmerie Command, investigations were conducted on social media and URL addresses as part of open-source research between October 1 and 31.
In this context, action was initiated against 483 websites that facilitate illegal betting, and the matter was reported to the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK).
Additionally, during virtual patrols, judicial proceedings were initiated against 30 social media account users for engaging in terrorist organization propaganda and 11 users for committing various public order offenses.
