Getir partner Serkan Borançılı's boat catches fire in Italy

The boat belonging to Serkan Borançılı, a co-founder of the Turkey-based rapid delivery company Getir, has caught fire in Italy for unknown reasons.

Regarding the fire on the boat of Getir partner Serkan Borançılı, the company's CEO Nazım Salur made the following statement on his social media account:

“The boat of my partner and friend Serkan Borançılı, with whom I co-founded Getir, has unfortunately caught fire in Italy for a reason yet to be determined.

The Borançılı family and the crew are safe. We wish them a speedy recovery.

I would also like to take this opportunity to correct some inaccuracies in certain posts.”
