A CHP delegation held a press conference at Saraçhane regarding the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and his colleagues. CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın invited citizens to Saraçhane once again during the statement.
'TO THE FRONT OF SARAÇHANE AT 20:30'
Günaydın stated the following:
"We invite our citizens to gather in front of Saraçhane at 20:30 for the speech our Chairman will deliver. If the process at the Vatan Security Directorate evolves into proceedings at the Çağlayan Courthouse, we will continue to hold this space as well. We stand on the side of the rule of law. We are against the instrumentalization of the judiciary."
