Grass fires that broke out in two separate locations in Hakkari were extinguished in a short time through the joint intervention of municipal police, firefighters, and citizens. The fire was brought under control before it could spread to residential areas.

According to the information obtained, the first fire broke out in a vacant lot near the Feraşin apartment building in the Yeni neighborhood. The second fire occurred in the vicinity of the Governor's Park in the Bulak neighborhood. While the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, it spread rapidly due to the effect of the wind. Municipal police and local citizens quickly intervened in areas where fire crews had difficulty reaching.
Following the initial intervention, fire crews arrived at the scene and completely extinguished the fire by carrying out cooling operations. The fire was put out before it could spread to residential areas. Authorities warned citizens to be careful in grassy areas during the summer months.
