The sale of the 3D model product named 'Guardian of the Republic' was banned following the intervention of the Ministry of Trade after it was offered for sale in a store.
The Ministry reported that legal action has been initiated against the manufacturer.
The statement made by the Ministry included the following:
'Following public reports regarding the sale of products on an e-commerce platform that target the beliefs and values of our society, an immediate investigation was launched by our Ministry of Trade.
As a result of coordinated work with the relevant units of our Ministry of Trade, the product in question was quickly removed from sale, and the necessary administrative processes have been initiated against the seller within the scope of the legislation.
As the Ministry of Trade, we will not allow any product, service, or commercial activity that has the potential to involve hate speech, discrimination, targeting of national and spiritual values, provocation of segments of society, or harming the public conscience to find a place in the e-commerce ecosystem.
Our Ministry of Trade continues its inspection activities with determination in order to protect consumers, ensure the security of the digital trade environment, and prevent content that could harm national unity and social peace. All necessary steps against any commercial activity that undermines public order will be taken without any delay.'
