The horrific incident occurred on the bus operating the Göktürk-Alibeyköy route during the evening hours the day before yesterday. According to allegations, a woman who arrived at the stop in the evening began waiting for the bus.
At that moment, an individual who approached the woman and was alleged to be intoxicated engaged in verbal harassment. The woman then boarded the bus, and the man followed her onto the same bus. Thinking she was being followed, the woman told those on the bus that the man had harassed her, and chaos ensued.
BEATING OVER HARASSMENT ALLEGATION
Those on the bus beat the suspect and then notified the police. Upon the report, police teams arrived at the scene and took the suspect into custody. The detained suspect was taken to the police station. Those on the bus recorded the events with their mobile phone cameras.
