Retired Rear Admiral Cem Gürdeniz, known as the mastermind behind the Blue Homeland (Mavi Vatan) doctrine, made a striking comment regarding the World Economic Forum held in Davos.

Pointing to the wars, deaths, and hunger occurring globally, Gürdeniz criticized the indifference of world powers that hold sway over the economy regarding these issues, focusing on a theme selected for the forum.

Criticizing the official agenda theme chosen for the World Economic Forum, 'Rebuilding Trust,' with the words "What trust?", Gürdeniz stated the following:

"The World Economic Forum (WEF) has shamelessly been able to call its official agenda theme in Davos 'Rebuilding Trust.'

The situation to which neoliberal capitalism and the neoconservative imperialism that became intertwined after the Cold War have brought the world through the US, EU, and NATO has made this theme necessary. Let us ask then! What trust? The children dying every minute in Gaza? Those condemned to civil war in the grip of poverty in Yemen? The tens of thousands sent to their deaths for the sake of American geopolitics in Ukraine?

The millions displaced from their homes in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Libya? Is it for them that you will rebuild trust? What did the NATO Secretary General say at the last summit?

'We are working for the security of one billion.' The remaining 7 billion will surely say stop to imperialist imposition. The creativity of history and the unstoppable rise of Asian powers will defeat the wicked."
