Harsh reaction to AKP deputy's self-criticism on fund and operations: 'A Trojan Horse infiltrated the party'
Statements made by AKP İstanbul Deputy Serkan Bayram regarding the "fund" investigation and operations against municipalities have drawn reactions from figures close to the government.

AKP deputy Bayram's remarks regarding the fund investigation, which began with the words "Everyone should pay the price," and his criticisms regarding the detention of mayors have sparked debate in circles close to the government.
Adem Metan, who reacted to Bayram, criticized the discussion of intra-party issues in public, while former Prime Ministry Press Advisor Cahit Tuz targeted the deputy with much harsher expressions.
Speaking during a live broadcast on NOW TV, Bayram said that the money movements that came to the agenda within the scope of the investigation should be revealed in all their aspects. Arguing that the investigation should be expanded regardless of who is mentioned in the allegations, Bayram said, "Whoever is involved in this, let them be cleared. Let our party be truly cleansed."
Bayram used harsh expressions regarding the allegations that came to the agenda, especially through Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya:
"We have taken away the rights of many people, our disabled brothers and sisters. Was it so that Fatma Betül could eat? And she oversees social policies. No one should take offense. Everyone should pay the price."
The deputy stated that the money traffic in the investigation should also be clarified through documents, using the phrases, "One says he deposited it, the other says he didn't."
HE ALSO REACTED TO OPERATIONS AGAINST MUNICIPALITIES
Bayram's criticisms were not limited to the fund investigation. Criticizing the method applied in the detentions and operations against opposition mayors, Bayram questioned whether it was necessary for elected mayors to be detained in the early morning hours.
Bayram said, "It's a pity, a mayor has been elected. We take them in the morning, why are we taking them? If you called them, they would come anyway." Stating that "This applies to all our mayors," Bayram added, "None of us have the right to trample everything like this."
"TARGETING ALL THE WINDOWS OF THE HOUSE IS SOMETHING ELSE"
Adem Metan, known for his closeness to the government, reacted to Bayram's statements.
In his assessment without naming names, Metan argued that deputies should bring up problems within the party to party mechanisms first, rather than discussing them in public.
Stating that the AKP has its own internal audit and disciplinary mechanisms, Metan expressed that while one might say "I will throw a stone correctly," "targeting all the windows of the house" is a different situation.
Metan also criticized Bayram's method with the words, "If everyone is going to go on television in the morning and tell their problems, why is there a need for intra-party mechanisms?"
HARSH OUTBURST FROM CAHIT TUZ
Another reaction to Bayram's statements came from former Prime Ministry Press Advisor Cahit Tuz.
In a social media post, Tuz harshly criticized Bayram's words, saying, "He cannot be an AK Party deputy who uses these expressions," and suggested that the deputy could be a "Trojan horse" that has "infiltrated" the AKP.
Claiming that Bayram associated the AKP with corruption through Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, Tuz found it contradictory that he criticized the investigations and operations against municipalities.
