The harshest reaction to Kılıçdaroğlu came from Büyükerşen: His ambitions are far above his intellect

Yılmaz Büyükerşen, a prominent figure in the CHP who served as the Mayor of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality for 25 years, criticized former CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu with harsh words due to his stance in the party congress lawsuit.

Yılmaz Büyükerşen, known as the legendary mayor of Eskişehir, made a post before the hearing of the lawsuit regarding the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress held on June 30.

Reacting sharply to Kılıçdaroğlu, who is reported to have expressed that he would accept the chairmanship position in the event of a possible 'absolute nullity' ruling in the case, Büyükerşen said, "His political ambitions are, unfortunately, far above his intellect."

CHP member Büyükerşen stated that Kılıçdaroğlu's attitude is contrary to the principles and spirit of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, and said, "I condemn it with regret."

Büyükerşen wrote the following on his X account:

"The recent attitude of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, for whom we held feelings of loyalty due to his services up until the last CHP Congress, has revealed, albeit very late, the reality that his political ambitions are, unfortunately, far above his intellect.

This reality is completely contrary to the spirit and principles of the CHP, which was founded by Atatürk.

I condemn it with regret."
