He asked for a 100 lira loan, 100 thousand lira was deposited into his account

A disabled citizen living in the Taşova district of Amasya asked his friend from Giresun for a 100 lira loan, but 100 thousand lira was accidentally deposited into his bank account. Ahmet Alkan, who noticed the error and returned the money without touching it, proved that humanity is not dead with his words, "I cannot eat illicit money."

36-year-old disabled citizen Ahmet Alkan, who lives in the village of Mülkbükü in Taşova, asked Hasan Himtaş from Giresun, whom he met during a trip, for a '100' lira loan.

Himtaş told his son to send the money to Alkan. Instead of 100 lira, '100 thousand' lira was deposited into Alkan's bank account.

"I WAS EXCITED, I WAS SHOCKED"

Ahmet Alkan, who noticed the error immediately, said, "I called Hasan, my older brother from Giresun, because I didn't have any money in my pocket that day. Then I said I would send it to your account. But he accidentally sent me '100 thousand' lira. I asked for 100 lira, he sent me 100 thousand lira. I was excited. I was shocked."

Explaining that he returned the money, Alkan said, "I called my friend back. I told him that he had accidentally sent me 100 thousand lira. He was shocked too. His son had accidentally sent me 100 thousand lira. I returned his money. I cannot eat illicit money. Illicit money will not pass through my throat. But normally, I am disabled. Thank God I have a pension. I have no problems," he said.

"I WASN'T SURPRISED AT ALL"

Hamit Himtaş, who had a video call with his friend from Amasya, said, "Ahmet Bey called me and asked for 100 lira. I told my son to send 100 lira to Ahmet Bey. He understood it as 100 thousand lira. Ahmet said, 'Brother, there is no chance I would eat your money.' He returned the money to me. This is the first time I have encountered something like this."

Fatih Şahin, who is proud of his friend, said, "Everyone in Taşova loves Ahmet. He comes here as soon as he gets his pension. When he buys something on credit, he comes back and pays it later. He told me about the incident the other day. I was really expecting something like this from Ahmet. And I wasn't surprised at all. He is an honest kid."
