The investigation into the brutal murder in Istanbul has been completed. The murder suspect, 28-year-old British national Ahmet Yasin M., who killed his wife by stabbing her more than 100 times in various parts of her body with a screwdriver, has been sent to the courthouse. During his interrogation, the suspect claimed he was remorseful and alleged that he committed the murder following an argument.

The horrific incident in Istanbul occurred yesterday around 12:30 PM at a hotel located in the Mevlanakapı neighborhood of Fatih. The interrogation of Ahmet Yasin M., who brutally murdered his wife, Ayan Mohamed Dhoba, with a screwdriver in room 111 of the hotel where they were staying, has been completed at the Public Security Branch Directorate's Murder Bureau.
HE SAID HE WAS REMORSEFUL
Police, acting on a report from hotel staff, apprehended the murder suspect as he was attempting to flee. The suspect's clothing, which had blood on the t-shirt, was seized. Upon his statement that he had thrown the screwdriver used in the incident into the toilet, the weapon was recovered during a search of the toilet. The suspect, Ahmet Yasin M., who explained the details of the incident to the police, said he was remorseful.
SENT TO THE COURTHOUSE
The investigation into the suspect, who was interrogated at the Public Security Branch Directorate's Murder Bureau, has been completed. The suspect, who claimed his wife had given him drugs, stated that he committed the murder due to an argument that broke out. The couple, who had entered Turkey through Sabiha Gökçen Airport 4 days ago, had checked into the hotel in Fatih where the murder took place.
