AKP member Şamil Tayyar made a striking post regarding Antalya Police Chief İlker Arslan, for whom an arrest warrant has been issued. Tayyar stated, "It seems the Antalya operation will not be limited to Police Chief İlker Arslan and will grow even further. I am not writing his name, position, or title so as not to compromise the investigation. A surprise 'dismissal' decision could come on Monday."

Antalya Police Chief İlker Arslan has been suspended from duty by the decision of the Ministry of Interior as part of an investigation conducted by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Immediately after his suspension, an arrest warrant was issued for Arslan. Additionally, an arrest order was issued for Arslan's wife.

ARREST WARRANT ISSUED

Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that Antalya Police Chief İlker Arslan was in Ankara. Summoned to the law enforcement unit by Ankara Provincial Police Department officials, Arslan turned off his mobile phone shortly after and disappeared. Following this, an arrest warrant was issued for Arslan.

While the developments caused a wide stir in public opinion, AKP member Şamil Tayyar also shared a noteworthy message. Stating that the Antalya operation would not be limited to İlker Arslan, Tayyar said, "I am not writing his name, position, or title so as not to compromise the investigation.
