Kenan Tekdağ, who was arrested as part of the Can Holding investigation, sent a written statement to the public through his lawyer regarding the allegations made against him by Sadettin Saran.
According to Independent Türkçe, Tekdağ stated in the message conveyed through his lawyer that he has no personal or social connection with Sadettin Saran.
In his statement, Tekdağ also addressed the phrase "bad and dangerous person" used by Sadettin Saran to describe him, noting that these words are linked to commercial lawsuits that have been ongoing for about a decade between Saran's company and Show TV, where Tekdağ serves as chairman of the board. Tekdağ argued that this characterization is the result of an attitude stemming from unmet expectations in these cases. He concluded his statement with the words, "I respectfully submit this to the public's information."
