THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM THE ASSOCIATION
The Füsun Sayek Health and Education Development Association thanked CHP Leader Özgür Özel and his team for their contributions to efforts made in solidarity with earthquake survivors, stating the following:
"20 months have passed since the devastating earthquake we experienced. We know that we can only heal our wounds by producing, standing in solidarity, and giving strength to one another. It is our common goal to revive the hopes for the future that were left under the rubble of the earthquake and to contribute to protecting the valuable heritage of the past. The Arsuz Weaving Workshop was established for this very purpose, with the contributions of the Support Foundation for Civil Society and the Turkey Mozaik Foundation. In the weaving training that has been ongoing in our workshop since March 2024, we are healing our wounds together with dozens of Arsuz earthquake survivor women with every fabric they weave. We are weaving the future together with them. We are working with all our might to revive hope together, to grow stronger by producing, and to heal together during a difficult period. We thank CHP Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel and his team, who visited our workshop during their work in Hatay this week and showed their solidarity by sitting at our weaving loom, for making us feel that we are not alone on this path."
