Former AKP deputy Mehmet Metiner, who had supported Presidential Chief Advisor Oktay Saral by saying "I'm glad you exist" after Saral targeted Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, has deleted his post.

Oktay Saral, Chief Advisor to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, recently targeted Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy with harsh words due to the Culture Festival held in Trabzon.

AKP 27th Term Niğde Deputy Selim Gültekin responded to Saral's post, which became a hot topic, saying, "You are the one who visits the Minister in his office when you need something, and you are the one who tweets about it."

Former AKP deputy Mehmet Metiner quoted Saral's post and supported him by saying, "My brave brother! I'm glad you exist!"

Gültekin responded to Metiner this time, stating, "Why does he exist? Why would someone who recently visited the Minister in his office when they needed something tweet instead of discussing what's on their mind face-to-face... The understanding of bravery in this cause should be lifelong, not daily! Loyalty to our President requires this..."

Following the Mehmet Nuri Ersoy feud between the AKP and the Palace, a notable move came from Metiner.

Metiner deleted his post that said, "My brave brother! I'm glad you exist!"
