A social media post made by Kahraman Bal before the incident, in which he killed his wife Elif Bal, who was in the process of divorcing him, has drawn attention.

Kahraman Bal, who lived in the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep and was in the process of divorcing, opened fire on his wife, Elif Bal, in the middle of the street as she was leaving home to go to work in the morning.
Medical teams arriving at the scene determined that Bal, a mother of one, had lost her life.
It was also determined that Kahraman Bal had died in the same manner.
THEIR 5-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER IS LEFT BEHIND
The bodies of Kahraman Bal and Elif Bal, who lost their lives in the tragic incident, were handed over to their relatives for burial after procedures were completed at the scene and at the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute.
It was learned that the young couple had a 5-year-old daughter and that Elif Bal worked as a security guard at the Nizip State Hospital.
SOCIAL MEDIA POST EMERGES
On the other hand, a death-themed post made by Kahraman Bal on social media hours before the incident, in which he committed suicide after killing his wife, drew attention. In his post, Bal wrote, "It is not shameful to be Tahir, nor to be Zühre. It is not even shameful to die for the sake of love."
It was reported that a comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
