In an incident at a coal mine in Bolu, a 37-year-old worker died in a tragic manner after being crushed by a wagon 150 meters underground.

The tragic incident, which resulted in the loss of 1 life, occurred at the coal mine of Üçpınar Madencilik in the Gökçesu town of Mengen district. According to the information obtained, 37-year-old İsa Ceylan, who worked at the coal mine, was crushed between moving wagons while he had entered the mine for maintenance.
His colleagues, who witnessed the condition of Ceylan after he suffered the work accident 150 meters underground, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the region. The initial examination by the health teams arriving at the scene determined that İsa Ceylan had lost his life.
Ceylan's body was taken to the hospital morgue by a funeral transport vehicle following the investigation by the Public Prosecutor.
It was learned that 37-year-old İsa Ceylan, originally from Bartın, was married and a father of 3 children.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
