An interesting incident took place on Nakkaş Street in the Nakkaş neighborhood of Aksaray.

According to the information obtained, teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch and Traffic Registration and Inspection Branch, who were conducting road checks with night watchmen at midnight, stopped a car with the license plate 68 ABZ 709.

Suspecting that the driver, B.K. (21), who was checked for his driver's license and vehicle registration, might be under the influence, traffic teams subjected the young driver to an alcohol test. The driver, who was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.65 promille, was brought to the police car for penalty procedures.

The young driver, who was called to sign the penalty receipts written by the police teams, laughed as he took the pen and signed the documents.

The driver, who also joked with the police by laughing because he had to sign so many times, continued to sign while laughing, saying, "Commissioner, it's as if I'm about to withdraw money."

After all the procedures were finished, the driver lifted his head, took a deep breath, said "Phew," and continued to laugh.

Surpassing the frequently seen "drunk driver vs. police" tropes, the driver surprised even the police teams with his cheerfulness. The driver was fined 6 thousand 439 TL for driving under the influence, and the vehicle was handed over to a friend who arrived at the scene.
