He said 'My wife is entrusted to you,' then killed him after learning they were together!

In the Ödemiş district of İzmir, a 45-year-old man who was hit by 6 bullets in his legs as a result of gunfire opened from a motorcycle while he was on his way home, lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.

It was learned that the suspect who carried out the attack had recently been in prison and committed the murder on the grounds that his wife was having an affair with the friend to whom he had entrusted her.

The incident occurred yesterday evening around 20:00 on Tarla Street in the Atatürk Neighborhood.

According to the information obtained, Fuat Kök (45), who was on his way home, was caught in a hail of gunfire by a person or persons on a motorcycle.

While Fuat Kök, who was hit by 6 bullets in his leg, was left covered in blood, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

While police teams secured the perimeter, Kök, who was determined to be seriously injured during the check performed by health teams, was taken to Ödemiş State Hospital by ambulance.

The unfortunate man could not be saved despite all interventions made there and lost his life. Kök's body was taken to the morgue after the examination.

The murder suspect M.Ç., who fled after the incident, and 5 people evaluated to have assisted the suspect were taken into custody.

It was alleged that while M.Ç. was entering prison for another crime previously, he told his friend Fuat Kök, ''My wife is entrusted to you,'' that he later learned that his wife and Kök were having an affair, and that he committed the murder for this reason when he was released from prison.

The procedures for the total of 6 people taken into custody along with M.Ç. are ongoing at the police station.
