He set his ex-wife on fire with gasoline! The court has reached a verdict

Gürhan Üzer (42), who poured gasoline on and set fire to Pınar Zorlu (36), whom he had divorced 21 days earlier, has been arrested in Antalya.

A dispute broke out between Pınar Zorlu and her ex-husband Gürhan Üzer in the garden of an apartment building on İsmet Gökçen Street in the Şirinyalı neighborhood.

As the argument escalated, Gürhan Üzer poured gasoline, which he reportedly brought in a bucket, over Pınar Zorlu and set her on fire.

The woman, who suffered burns over a large part of her body, was taken to the Burn Unit at Akdeniz University Hospital.

Gürhan Üzer, who fled the scene on his motorcycle, was apprehended in the vicinity of a school in the Yeşilbahçe neighborhood.

Gürhan Üzer was referred to the courthouse following his statement at the Homicide Bureau. Üzer was arrested by the duty magistrate. It was learned that Pınar Zorlu had previously obtained multiple restraining orders against Üzer.
