Footage of the attack on former Idealist Hearths President Sinan Ateş, who was assassinated in Ankara on December 30, 2022, has emerged.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinan Ateş is seen leaving Friday prayers, accompanied by Selman Bozkurt and Ahmet Keçik.

In the footage, after Ateş is shot and falls to the ground, the individuals with him attempt to retrieve the weapon from Ateş's waistband to respond to the shooter, Eray Özyağcı, who is fleeing the scene.
