He was subjected to an armed attack: Serhat Akın's initial statements have emerged

The investigation into the armed attack on former Fenerbahçe football player Serhat Akın as he was leaving a program where he appeared as a commentator in Istanbul's Beykoz district is ongoing.

While the police processing of the 5 individuals taken into custody continues, it is alleged that the order for the attack was given by an individual identified as H.Ş., who is in Georgia, and that a payment of 250 thousand liras was made to the attackers.

In the incident that occurred on Friday evening in Kavacık neighborhood, former National Team and Fenerbahçe player Serhat Akın was wounded. Istanbul Police Department teams have taken 5 people into custody.

During the investigation, it was determined that the person who used the weapon during the attack was Ozan D., and the person who drove the motorcycle used for the escape was Osman M.

'GEORGIA' ALLEGATION

It is alleged that the order was given by H.Ş., who lives in Georgia, and that the attack was carried out for 250 thousand liras. It was learned that H.Ş., who is alleged to have given the order, has a criminal record of 10 offenses, including intentional homicide. The processing of the 5 individuals in custody continues.

ALLEGATION THAT SERHAT AKIN 'NAMED 4 PEOPLE'

On the other hand, journalist Emrullah Erdinç claimed that in his initial statement following the attack, Serhat Akın provided the names of 4 people whom he stated had targeted him.
