HEALTH MINISTER FAHRETTIN KOCA ANNOUNCED THE DATA

The official statement on the matter came from Health Minister Fahrettin Koca. According to the data shared by Koca, approximately 16 thousand people across the country were injured during the slaughter of sacrificial animals.

Sharing a post on his X account, Koca stated the following:

"On the first day of the holiday, approximately 16,000 people across the country, including 1,274 in Ankara, 840 in Istanbul, and 416 in Izmir, applied to our healthcare institutions due to injuries sustained during the slaughter of sacrificial animals. The fact that the slaughter is not performed by professional individuals leads to such situations. We recommend that those who have not yet slaughtered their sacrificial animals pay attention to this. From the very first day, approximately 16,000 people will not be able to spend the holiday as they wished."
