Health Minister Fahrettin Koca shared a video on his X account showing how the path for a fire truck heading to an accident in the Alaplı district of Zonguldak was cleared using the 'zipper method'.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, in a post on his X account, stated: “This time, the path for a fire truck heading to an accident scene was cleared using the Zipper Method. Following a report regarding a traffic accident in the Alaplı district of Zonguldak that left 2 people injured, health and fire crews were dispatched to the area. In the heavy holiday traffic, vehicles gave way to the fire truck using the Zipper Method. We have once again seen the benefit of the Zipper Method, which we insistently emphasize should be used to give way to ambulances. The two people injured in the accident, who received initial intervention, have been taken to Alaplı State Hospital. I wish them a speedy recovery.”
