In Istanbul's Avcılar district, a concrete wall between two buildings on Üner Street in the Denizköşkler neighborhood collapsed with a loud noise around 9:00 PM following heavy rainfall.

TEAMS HAVE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION

While the wall collapsed into the space at the lowest floor of a 6-story building, there were no deaths or injuries in the incident. Upon notification, fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The area where the retaining wall collapsed was cordoned off by teams, and investigations are ongoing.

Gökhan Enis, who rushed out to the street when the wall collapsed, said, "We heard a sound like an earthquake. We were in the room and immediately went outside. It had been bulging before. We had applied to the municipality. They had come and looked at it. However, they did not take any action. Thank God there were no injuries or loss of life."
