According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Eastern Black Sea region, the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Mersin, Adana, Hatay, Osmaniye, Erzincan, Tunceli, Elazığ, and Bingöl, while other areas are expected to be mostly clear. 

Precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain and showers in the south and west of Southeastern Anatolia, the coastal parts of the Eastern Black Sea, and the surroundings of Mersin, Adana, Hatay, and Osmaniye, and in the form of sleet and snow in other areas receiving precipitation. This precipitation is expected to be heavy (10-20 cm) in Kars, Ardahan, and Ağrı, as well as in the surroundings of Erzurum and the high altitudes of Muş, and locally intense (over 20 cm) in the form of sleet and snow in Bitlis, the northern and southern districts of Van, the high altitudes of Siirt, the high altitudes of eastern Şırnak, and especially in the higher elevations of Hakkari. Local fog and mist are expected in inland areas, along with icing and frost during the morning and night hours.
