According to a post by a citizen named A.P. living in the Hassa district, an electricity bill of 4,080 liras was sent to their detached house, which was moderately damaged and has not been used since the earthquake. It was stated that the bill indicated the initial reading date, which forms the basis for consumption, as February 6, 2023, the day the earthquake occurred.

A.P. stated that they do not understand how the electricity meter could have been read on the day of the earthquake in an environment where people were struggling to survive, and noted that the company expects them to believe this situation.

According to the report, other earthquake survivors in the region have also received similarly high electricity bills, and reactions have been growing.
