Helicopter support for firefighting efforts in Aydın
As firefighting efforts continue on the ground following a fire that started in agricultural land in the Savrandere area of Aydın's Efeler district and spread to a forested area, two night-vision helicopters dispatched to the region will provide aerial support throughout the night.

The fire, which according to initial reports started around 3:00 PM today in Savrandere Neighborhood due to a transformer explosion, spread over a wide area due to the intensity of the wind.
While the Bademli Neighborhood was evacuated as a precaution due to the fire that started in agricultural land and spread to the forest, firefighting efforts continued by air and land throughout the day.
Following nightfall, two night-vision helicopters dispatched to the region began providing aerial support to the firefighting efforts, which had been continuing from the ground for a while.
While teams in the region are putting up a great fight against the flames, night-vision helicopters will continue to provide aerial support to the efforts throughout the night.
In a statement regarding the matter, the General Directorate of Forestry said, "Our fight continues for the fire that started in a non-forest area during the day in Savrandere Neighborhood in the Efeler district of Aydın. We are working day and night by land and air to bring the fire under control. Firefighting efforts are ongoing. 2 helicopters are providing aerial support to the night firefighting efforts."
