Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 27 suspected members of the separatist terrorist organization (BTÖ) who were preparing for attacks in 8 provinces have been apprehended as part of the “Heroes” operations against the organization.

Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that 27 suspects were detained in operations conducted against members of the Separatist Terrorist Organization in Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Van, İzmir, Isparta, Malatya, Manisa, and Adıyaman on charges of being a member of a terrorist organization, aiding a terrorist organization, providing financing to a terrorist organization, and engaging in terrorist organization propaganda.

In his statement on social media, Interior Minister Yerlikaya stated that they would never stop pursuing the terrorist organization both within the country and across the border, saying, "As part of the operations conducted against members of the Separatist Terrorist Organization in Şanlıurfa, Mardin, Van, İzmir, Isparta, Malatya, Manisa, and Adıyaman by the Provincial Gendarmerie Commands under the coordination of the Gendarmerie General Command's Counter-Terrorism Department, 27 suspected BTÖ members were apprehended on charges of 'Being a Member of a Terrorist Organization, Aiding a Terrorist Organization, Providing Financing to a Terrorist Organization, and Engaging in Terrorist Organization Propaganda.' I congratulate our Gendarmerie who carried out the operations; may God protect you. Our fight will continue until the last terrorist is neutralized."
