Hezbollah spokesperson Rana Sahili spoke regarding the attacks carried out from Lebanese territory into Israel. Sahili said, "The reason for Hezbollah intensifying its attacks on Israel does not mean that Hezbollah has decided to fully enter the Israel-Hamas war. These are still minor skirmishes and a warning to the Zionists."
Meanwhile, Israel has declared its northern border with Lebanon a closed military zone following deadly clashes with Hezbollah, as fears grow over the opening of another front amidst the ongoing bombardment in the Gaza Strip.
This decision came after an Israeli was killed in Hezbollah attacks that were met with artillery fire by Israel today.
This move by Israel was seen as a precaution against the possibility of Hezbollah opening a second front to come to the aid of Hamas fighters in the Gaza Strip.
