High school fight ends in tragedy: 1 student loses life
In Sancaktepe, a student who fell and hit their head after being struck during a fight at a high school has passed away at the hospital where they were taken.

According to the information received, a fight broke out yesterday between students identified as M.E.K. and E.E. at a high school in Osmangazi Neighborhood for reasons yet to be determined.
M.E.K., who fell after receiving a blow during the fight, hit their head on the ground.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS
Upon notification, medical teams arrived at the school and transported the injured child to the Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Sancaktepe Training and Research Hospital. Despite all interventions performed there, M.E.K. could not be saved.
E.E., who was taken to the police station regarding the fight, was referred to the courthouse on charges of "intentional homicide" following the procedures.
FUNERAL CEREMONY HELD
A funeral ceremony was held for the late M.E.K. at the Hz. Ali Mosque. The funeral was attended by Sancaktepe Mayor Şeyma Döğücü, District Director of National Education Hale Bağçe Özbaş, as well as the student's family and relatives.
Following the funeral prayer held at the time of the afternoon prayer (ikindi), the body of M.E.K. was laid to rest at the Yenidoğan Cemetery.
