Retired Chief Prosecutor Mehmet Demir had a heated argument with journalist Ali Tarakçı on the Gündem Özel program on Lider Haber TV.

Unable to control his temper in the face of Tarakçı's criticisms, Demir raised his voice and lashed out at Tarakçı, saying, "Don't push me! Did I come here to argue with you? Who are you to ask me questions? You are not a representative of the people. Cover your ears. I will kick you out of here."

While the tension experienced during the live broadcast became a hot topic on social media, Retired Chief Prosecutor Demir has now become the subject of much discussion due to a post he made on his social media account.

A social media user commented on Demir's announcement regarding a program he would be attending on 24TV, saying, "I guess I'll turn the TV volume down to avoid sudden outbursts. Since TV prices have skyrocketed." Another user then attacked Demir, saying, "For God's sake, when there are so many beautiful things to watch. When you could simply watch a chimpanzee documentary in Africa, are you going to watch this immoral woman and this useless, shouting, uncivilized guy who appears on a 3rd-rate channel?"

Demir quoted this message and unleashed a barrage of insults, using the expressions, "You can curse at this dishonorable breed of dogs as much as you want, friends! Cursing at this crypto-agent is not a crime."
