Hit by a car while sleeping on a sofa: Death grazed me

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in front of a dental clinic located in the Serinevler neighborhood of the central Yüreğir district. According to reports, baker Cengiz Adlı (24) had fallen asleep on a sofa in front of the clinic because he was feeling unwell. At that moment, a car with the license plate 01 YF 184, whose driver's identity has not yet been determined, went out of control after the driver lost steering control and came to a stop by crashing into the sofa.

STUNNED BY THE IMPACT

Cengiz Adlı, who was sleeping on the sofa, woke up and was stunned by what had happened. Upon notification by bystanders, police teams were dispatched to the scene.

DRIVER FLED

Hearing that the police were arriving, the car driver got into his vehicle, saying, 'I'm going to pull the car to the side,' and fled the scene.

"DEATH PRACTICALLY GRAZED ME"

Speaking to reporters, Cengiz Adlı stated that death had grazed him, saying, "I was feeling a bit unwell and was sleeping on the sofa. Suddenly, the sofa shook, and I saw that a vehicle had hit it. I was very scared. God spared me for my child. Death practically grazed me. When I watched the footage, I saw how lucky I was."

On the other hand, it was observed that the window of the dentist's office was also broken due to the accident.
