HKP Chairman Nurullah Efe released from prison

The People's Liberation Party (HKP) has announced that HKP Chairman Nurullah Efe, who was sent to Maltepe Prison on July 7 to serve a 5-month prison sentence, has been released on the condition of reporting to authorities to sign in.

In a written statement issued by the HKP Central Committee, it was reported that Efe was released on the condition of signing in four days a week.

The statement included the expression, "Nurullah Efe continues his struggle against US-EU imperialists and their local collaborators in Turkey with determination, and he is at the head of his duty."

Nurullah Efe's party chairmanship and membership were revoked by the Court of Cassation, and the decision had become final. Mustafa Şahbaz was appointed as chairman at the party's 1st Extraordinary General Assembly.
