Heated argument in 'insulting the President' trial of HKP Chairman Nurullah Efe: He slammed the table, tried to throw a chair

During the 'insulting the President' trial, as Halkın Kurtuluş Partisi (HKP) Chairman Nurullah Efe was criticizing the meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and US President Donald Trump, President Erdoğan's lawyer Sami Kabadayı attempted to intervene. Efe reacted to lawyer Kabadayı by saying, 'Do not interrupt.' During the argument, an individual without a robe on the side of lawyer Kabadayı slammed their hand on the table and attempted to throw a chair. Due to the tension, the hearing was adjourned and postponed to a later date.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has filed a new lawsuit against HKP Chairman Nurullah Efe for "insulting the President" due to the defense he made in his previous "insulting the President" trial. The second hearing of the case, held at the Ankara 32nd Criminal Court of First Instance, was attended by the defendant Nurullah Efe, his lawyers, party members, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's lawyer, Sami Kabadayı.

The judge decided to open the SEGBİS recording to take Efe's defense. In his defense, Efe claimed that the AK Party government is an enemy of the Republic, stating, "We are defending the most just and legitimate cause in the world. Our struggle is for the salvation of all humanity, the full independence of our country, and for a secular republic."

"THEY WILL GO TO ÖCALAN'S FEET LIKE IT OR NOT"

HKP Leader Efe stated that the government is making efforts to implement the Greater Middle East Project (BOP) and spoke as follows:

"This government did everything they could while Iraq, Libya, and Syria were being torn apart. Now it is Turkey's turn. They are going to implement the Turkey leg of the BOP. Now they have entered under Öcalan's command. The commission in Parliament is clearly a 'BOP Commission.' They are trying to mask this as peace and brotherhood. They are going to choose who will go to Öcalan's feet. Öcalan said, 'That commission will come here, or they will experience hell.' They will go to his feet like it or not. Öcalan will set them straight. They are trying to maintain their power by taking refuge in Öcalan, but they have reached the end of the road. Nothing can keep them standing. They will come here; they will appear before courts consisting of independent and impartial prosecutors and judges who take orders only from the law and their conscience. Maybe we won't see it, but the youth will see it."

HE SHOWED ATATÜRK'S PHOTOGRAPH AT THE HEARING

Showing the photograph of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk he brought with him to the court panel, Efe said, "We are the representatives of this Alpha Wolf, we are here in his name, we are fighting in his name. Unfortunately, the government has taken you captive; you cannot do your duty. You are under his command. That is why I pity you. You are trying to punish us. When the September 12 fascist dictatorships were trying us with the death penalty, we were not afraid; are we going to be afraid of this?"

Claiming that President Erdoğan does not have a diploma, Efe said, "There is no legitimate President in Turkey. All the signatures he has put are null and void. Put Tayyip's picture and a real diploma here, and I will say 'I accept any punishment you give without making any defense' and walk out. In that respect, you are trying to judge me on the claim that I insulted someone who has no diploma."

ARGUMENT ERUPTED AT THE HEARING

Stating that the map in the background of the meeting between the US Ambassador to Turkey and Special Envoy to Syria Tom Barrack and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) leader Mazlum Abdi contained a deliberate message, Efe asked, "Is there anyone in the government who says a peep? This is a message that you will give Hatay to us."

On the other hand, while Efe was criticizing the meeting between President Erdoğan and US President Donald Trump, President Erdoğan's lawyer Kabadayı tried to intervene. Efe reacted to lawyer Kabadayı by saying, "Do not interrupt."

During the argument, an individual without a robe on the plaintiff's side slammed their hand on the table and attempted to throw a chair. At this moment, police entered the courtroom. Due to the tension, the hearing was adjourned. After the break, the judge stated that the SEGBİS system had malfunctioned and postponed the hearing to January 20, 2026.

"WE WILL WIN IN THE END"

Making a statement in front of the Ankara Courthouse after the hearing, HKP Chairman Nurullah Efe said:

"My esteemed friends; the 'Tayyip-folk,' who do not have a heart as big as a rabbit, who have no talent other than deceiving people with God, being puppets for America, being pawns, and stealing hundreds of billions of dollars of public property without stopping, are trying to judge us.

They are always defeated in these futile efforts. But in the end, this 'Illegal Palace' Sultanate, which is living its final moments, will collapse. There will be no escape or salvation for them. Because of their theft of public property, the amount of which exceeds 300 billion dollars, because of selling the homeland, because of committing all kinds of lawlessness, fraud, trickery, and schemes, and because of destroying the Secular Republic and abolishing the Constitution, they will eventually come to these courthouses. They will account for every crime they have committed here, one by one, together with all their cronies.

We will not let them go without holding them accountable!

We are not from the 'Ekrem, Son of the Imam' crowd!

We are not saying let them retire. As soon as their Illegal Palace collapses on their heads, they will find themselves before this independent and impartial judiciary and its courts, together with all their cronies. Including themselves, they will be held accountable for crimes that require aggravated life imprisonment dozens of times over. You, our young comrades, will eventually see this.

They are traitors upon traitors. America brought them to power so that they would collapse our Secular Republic, and they have kept them in power for 23 years for that reason. They have reached the end. Now they are jumping into the lap of America, the CIA, the CIA's diplomat-masked Thomas Barrack in Turkey, and Abdullah Öcalan, begging 'save us.' But they won't be able to save them either. In the end, we will win the final battle again, just like our Kuvayimilliye ancestors. We will inflict defeat on them once again, along with their Imperialist Masters. There is no hopelessness or pessimism, Friends!

We are the grandchildren of the Alpha Wolf Mustafa Kemals and their comrades-in-arms, and we are continuing their cause. Our entire goal is the full independence of our country and the happiness of our people. We will eventually achieve this."
