Home raids continue amid İmamoğlu protests! Many people detained
Amid ongoing protests following the arrest of 48 people, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, many individuals have been detained in home raids conducted in Istanbul and Bursa.

48 people, including Republican People's Party (CHP) Presidential Candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, as well as the mayors of Şişli and Beylikdüzü, have been arrested.
Protest demonstrations, which began with the detention of İmamoğlu, spread across the country following the announcement of the arrest decisions.
The actions, which intensified particularly on university campuses and in city centers, continued to grow under the leadership of students.
While simultaneous police raids were carried out on many homes in Istanbul and Bursa this morning, a large number of people were detained.
It was learned that academics who are members of Eğitim-Sen, who supported the boycott movement initiated by university students, were also among those detained.
It was reported that academic Levent Dölek was among those detained.
In a statement made by Eğitim-Sen, the following expressions were used: "Following the one-day strike decision taken by our union to show solidarity with our students, our Istanbul University Workplace Representative Levent Dölek was detained in a dawn operation. Union activity is not a crime. Release our friend immediately!"

STATEMENT FROM SOL GENÇ
SOL Genç issued a statement regarding the home raids and detentions, stating, "This morning in Bursa, many students, including three of our friends, were detained in home raids."
The statement included the following:
"Did you think the struggle of the youth would end with pressures and operations? This morning in Bursa, many students, including three of our friends, were detained in home raids. Release our friends immediately! #ContinueTheBoycott #GovernmentResign"

In a statement made by the Communist Youth of Turkey (TKG), it was said, "This morning, 7 more TKP members and volunteers who are students at Istanbul University, Marmara University, and Istanbul Technical University were detained from their homes for exercising their constitutional right to protest."
