The accident occurred on the TEM Highway near the Kirazlıyalı neighborhood of Kocaeli. According to reports, the driver of a moving semi-truck lost steering control and veered off course.
The out-of-control truck collided with another truck traveling in the same direction. As a result of the collision, one of the trucks overturned, and the cargo it was carrying in its trailer spilled onto the road.
ROAD CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
Due to the force of the impact, materials from the truck's trailer were scattered across the road. Other drivers who witnessed the accident immediately notified the authorities. Traffic and medical teams were quickly dispatched to the scene. Medical teams attended to the drivers at the scene, who fortunately escaped the accident without injury.
